Beech Grove

Beech Grove is a completely independent city within Indianapolis. Beech Grove is located 6 miles south of downtown Indy. It's not too far from downtown, but it has its own smaller community feel. If you need quick travel access, U.S.S. Indianapolis Memorial Highway is right there to jump on and get where you need to go. There are also a few major employers based here, which makes it an easy commute for many who live in the community.

Beech Grove is a self-sustained community with its own public schools. It also has a private Catholic school and Montessori school as well. There's also a local Indianapolis Public Library Branch in the community. Beech Grove has an active Main Street which is the center of the community where most of the businesses and eateries thrive. It's very easy to walk to for residents of the community. Some of the local restaurants are Napolli Villa Italian, 5th Ave Grill & Bar, El Morral Mexican, El Mariachi Mexican, and Grove Sports Bar & Eatery.

Beech Grove has the #1 bowling alley in Indianapolis, Beech Grove Bowl. The beautiful Franciscan Trail is a 2-mile trail that lets residents enjoy the outdoors. It begins at Sarah T. Bolton Park, and it runs along Lick Creek. There are regular community events held through the year including Fall Festival, Independence Day fireworks, the Music on Main live music festival, and other family-oriented events for the holidays. Beech Grove is a great community to live in and raise a family.
