West Indianapolis

West Indianapolis is a long-standing Indianapolis neighborhood that sits along the White River. It's an easy jot just across the bridge to Lucas Oil Stadium, White River State Park, Victory Field and the Indianapolis Zoo. Eagle Creek also runs through the neighborhood. With both waterways, it makes fishing and other water activities an easy and accessible enjoyment for those in the community. White River Trail & Eagle Creek Trail also run through the neighborhood, which is great for West Indianapolis residents who want to get outside and walk, jog or bike.

West Indianapolis features Back 9 Golf & Entertainment, a modern driving range with other food, fun and amenities. Tibbs Drive-In Theatre is also a long standing venue where the family can enjoy newly released films as well as classic films. Rhodius Park features athletic facilities and a public pool for people in the neighborhood to enjoy. There are many great eateries in West Indianapolis. A few of the local restaurants include Burrito Joint, El Corcel, John's Famous Stew and Mann's Grille.

There are many close bus stops around the neighborhood, and West Indianapolis also borders I-70 to make short or long commutes more convenient. The schools in the West Indianapolis community include Daniel Webster, William Penn, and Edison School of the Arts for the younger students and George Washinton High school for the older students. West Indianapolis is a growing community that has a lot of good prospects for the future.
